IT / Software
Having been fascinated by computers since I was at school, I have found my focus in the development of free software. The potential of interest-driven, non-profit-oriented software development always leads to solutions that are more stable and robust than commercial alternatives. Because I enjoy programming, but also to give a small part of software back to the world, I have started a variety of projects:
- Development of a firmware for a WLAN mesh network in Rostock
- Expansion of the Thunderbird code base and bug fixes to simplify the use of your own mail server
- Support for new hardware as part of the openHAB home automation software
- Development of a Django database for personnel management at medium-sized festivals
- Low-cost solution for evaluating electrical insulation measurement data based on an Odroid HC1
- Software solutions for embedded hardware (STM32 microcontroller) for current measurement and its graphical evaluation
