Electrical engineering / Electronics
Once you have an oscilloscope at home, you can’t stop tinkering with electrical circuits. Even though I envy radio and TV technicians who can improvise and build analog circuits, I feel more at home in the field of digital circuits.
And anyone who uses electricity should also take care of the power supply. That’s why my enthusiasm for power supply solutions, whether at festivals or on ships, has grown over the years.
Here is a list of older and current projects:
- Hexapod with its own microcontroller control.
- Second display and remote control for a Pioneer car radio
- Organization and construction of the power supply for an annual festival with up to 90,000 guests. Low-voltage distribution, based on 7 transformer stations and around 4 generators.
- Development of a low-cost solution for measuring current in the field. Design and implementation of the circuit and associated software, more information at elektro-zoo.de.
